Your photos never leave your device.

Everything Framio does (collage creation, HEIC conversion, batch processing) happens entirely on your iPhone. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photos anywhere.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Framio ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how Framio handles information when you use our iOS application. We believe in radical transparency: our App is designed to work entirely on your device, and we do not collect personal information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Framio does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Your photos, images, or any media files
  • Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
  • Your location data
  • Your contacts or any address book data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data

3. On-Device Processing

All image processing in Framio, including collage creation, HEIC conversion, batch conversion, layout adjustments, and exports, is performed entirely on your iPhone using Apple's native frameworks. No image data is sent to our servers or any third-party service at any point during this process.

4. Photo Library Access

Framio requests access to your Photo Library so you can select photos to use in collages or for HEIC conversion. This access is requested through Apple's standard permission system. We only read photos that you explicitly select; we do not scan, index, or process your entire library.

You can revoke Photo Library access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Framio.

5. App Store & Analytics

We receive aggregate, anonymized analytics from Apple through App Store Connect (such as total downloads and crash reports). This data is collected by Apple under their own privacy policy and does not include personally identifiable information. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs within Framio.

6. In-App Purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, all payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any transaction details beyond the fact that a purchase was made.

7. Children's Privacy

Framio does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, the App is safe for users of all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
